14th July…. Paris

Pretty Spectacular...

14th of July is France’s day to show off.. and they do a good job of it. They have their military march down the Champs Elysee to a cheering audience. Its broadcast live on television and all of the French President and the whole council and VIP’s are watching from grand-stands at historic Concorde! It is really a site to see, no cars on one of the busiest roads in the world and a procession of their finest dressed to the hilt march down the 1.7km blvd. It starts with the Air-force zooming overhead with their latest and greatest  followed its the Police, Gendarmes, Army, Navy, Air Force and every other service they have and finishes after the helicopters shudder the rooftops! Sarkozy is the figure head and he meets and great them all! ITs kool to see and much needed seeing just yesterday there were 4 French soldiers killed in Afganistan!

The Boss

Must be kool to drive up this road with no-one around.. I do it everyday and nearly get killed everytime!!
